Akpabio redeems pledge, delivers SUV to 2face (PHOTO)
For standing by 2faceidibia through trying times and finally marrying him to typify "The Akwa Ibom Woman", Governor Godswill Akpabio last week Friday in Eket promised Mr. & Mrs. Innocent Idibia an SUV Vehicle on the occasion of their traditional marriage in the State.
Government Press today released a photo showing Annie and 2face being
presented with the SUV by the state’s commissioner for Information,
Aniekan Umanah on behalf of the Governor. There has been media bashing on the profligacy of the Governor, but the Commissioner has since defended the actions of the Governor.

What if a Woman became POPE???
What if a Woman became POPE, would she be called Pope, The Popetess or Mome?

| Pope Francis 1 |
Among the most vocal controversies in the Catholic Church in
the late 20th century and early 21st has been the question of the ordination of
women. While any Catholic male could theoretically become the next pope, there's one group who's not even in the running: women.
As more Protestant denominations, including the Church of England, have
begun ordaining women, the Catholic Church's teaching on the all-male
priesthood has come under attack, with some claiming that the ordination of
women is simply a matter of justice, and the lack of such ordination is proof
that the Catholic Church does not value women. The Church's teaching on this
matter, however, cannot change.
According to the Catholic Church catechism, Jesus Christ chose 12 men to
be his apostles, and they in turn chose men to continue their ministry.
Therefore, the Catholic Church argues it is bound by that precedent.

| Stoves used to burn ballot papers after election |
Because the Catholic Church has yet to allow women to be
ordained as priests (they are only allowed to become nuns), and the Pope is
selected from the world's cardinals--who were once priests.
Pope Benedict XVI stepped down to go into history books as
the first to do so in about 600 years of the existence of the 1.2 billion
member church. And on Wednesday 13th March, 2013, 115 old men
gathered in what is known as the Papal Conclave to elect a new pope and after
two black smokes to suggest the process ended in a stalemate in as many
occasions, a third smoke, now white smirked off the Sistine Chapel’s chimney
to herald the election of a new pope which was to be Pope Francis the First. A Cardinal,
Jorge Bergoglio from Argentina.
One can only wonder why women are never ordained and made
Cardinals in the Catholic Church.
As a Church representing the body of Christ who didn’t exclude
the women from his teachings, he taught all and welcomed all with openness of
mind. This should be the practice from any congregation representing the body
of Christ.
There is also the arguable proposition, that after he resurrected
from death, he first introduced Himself to a woman. Mary and Mary Magdalene
stood by Him as He suffered through crucifixion. Mary and other female
disciples of Jesus Christ also washed His body and laid Him in a cave. Jesus Himself
healed the woman with the issue of blood and many others
These are just the many that
readily came to mind. We can hardly ever mention all his benevolence to women.
Priests were also allowed to
marry and have children.Whether a woman in that position
would act rationally or not is another topic, but shouldn’t there be a woman
Pope or whatever name she deems fit to lead the Catholic congregation?
The only thing to bore a semblance of Pope was who we learnt
dressed as a man and was elected under false pretenses. After the discovery
that she was a woman, the cardinals decided to physically check the genitals of
all future prospective popes. The ceremony involved the candidate sitting on a
chair with a hole in the seat. The chair was then lifted over the cardinals who
would have a good grope. I'm not sure if it still goes on though and is subject
to probes.
